heavy metal detox with ZEOLITES

Zeolites are well known for being able to remove heavy metals from the body. However, there is a big difference in the types of zeolite products available.

Let’s firstly look at what zeolite is, the benefits, the types available, and which one is best for you.

Heavy Metals

We are exposed to heavy metals everyday. Some are avoidable, whilst others we have no control over. Heavy metals are present in the air we breathe (due to pollution and geo-engineering), our food (from the soils and the sprays used), our water supply (contamination plus from the pipes), and from products we use e.g. what we cook food in, and the list goes on….

Heavy metals accumulate in the body and can have detrimental effects. Whilst some metals are necessary for the body e.g. zinc, copper, iron, other metals like mercury, barium and aluminium are not. Alumimium has been linked to Alzheimer’s and I don’t know about you but I will do what I can to take control of my health and try my best to prevent these health conditions from happening.

I first started using zeolite about a year ago, on and off. I heard about its ability to draw toxins and heavy metals out of the body. Since using it, I feel like my mind is clearer, my skin is clear, any bumps and things that were on my skin have also disappeared (not sure if this is from the zeolite but I had a small lump beneath my chin and since I started to take zeolite, it grew smaller and smaller and has disappeared completely). Zeolite has been shown to be able to help detox heavy metals and other pollutants, therefore it can significantly improve your health.

What exactly is Zeolite?

Australian zeolite was formed during the Carboniferous Age and is one of the oldest commercial volcanic zeolite deposits in the world.

Natural zeolite still contains the ancient water that was drawn into its structure during its formation, which took more than 300 million years. Wherever there’s water there are naturally occurring microbes and these are still contained in the structure along with the water. For those people who want a completely whole natural mineral, natural zeolite is the one to choose.

Zeolite (clinoptilolite) has many detoxifying benefits and is also used in many industries to remove toxic pollutants. Heavy metals such as mercury, lead, aluminium and cadmium, volatile organic compounds and radionuclides are drawn into the structure of each superfine zeolite particle where they are captured and permanently bonded.

How does Zeolite work?

Zeolite acts like a charged molecular sieve to trap and bind a wide range of matter, including some that are toxic.

Zeolite contains negative charges which attract and bind positive ions within its structure.

On a molecular level, zeolite has a three dimensional microcrystalline structure filled with channels and pores like a honeycomb. This internal structure gives a huge area for ionic bonding to take place, making zeolite much more functional than therapeutic clays.

What is activated Zeolite?

All clinoptilolite zeolites are hydrated aluminosilicates, which means they contain water within their structure. All water contains naturally occurring microbes.

With activated zeolite, the water and microbes are removed in a four-stage heating and cooling process. Activating zeolite powder in this way gives it more surface area for the detoxifying cation exchange to take place. It also removes the microbes.

Activated Zeolite is easier for sensitive and very toxic people to process the zeolite. This is why I have decided to stock activated zeolite over just zeolite online.

Is ‘nano zeolite’ more effective than Australian Certified Organic zeolite?

Natural zeolite (clinoptilolite) does not have to pass through the blood brain barrier to detoxify heavy metals and other toxic matter from the whole body. Zeolite powder is known to be safe and effective and many peer-reviewed medical studies have been published on the subject. Nano-sized zeolite remains untested.

Is it safe to ingest synthetic zeolite?

Synthetic zeolite is not safe to ingest in the long term because it releases aluminium into the body where it can accumulate. This does not occur with natural zeolite.

It states in the Critical Review on Zeolite Clinoptilolite Safety and Medical Applications in vivo:

“ … aluminum from the clinoptilolite materials does not enter the blood or accumulate in the body …”

“… aluminum released into systemic circulation was observed only in rats supplemented with synthetic zeolite A. The latter effect was attributed to the zeolite A lower stability in the acidic pH relevant for the human intestine in comparison to clinoptilolite materials.”

“In this study, authors also proved that clinoptilolite materials were efficient in the removal of aluminum from aluminum chloride-intoxicated rats in vivo. These observations may be attributed to the clinoptilolite stability …”

Uses and benefits of using zeolite

  • Helps to safely detox:

    • heavy metals

    • volatile organic compounds

    • ammonia

    • many other pollutants, chemicals and other toxins from your body.

  • Helps to improve your skin health.

  • Helps to improve your immune system.

  • Helps improve your gut health.

  • Helps improve the overall health of your family.

  • There are also many household and first aid applications for zeolite.

What is Fulvic Acid?

Fulvic acid is a naturally occurring compound that is derived from humus, which is the organic component of soil. It is a type of humic acid that is rich in carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, and various other trace minerals. Fulvic acid is formed through the decomposition of plant and animal matter by microorganisms in the soil. It can be found in soil, rocks, and water sources such as rivers and lakes.

Fulvic acid is able to easily penetrate cell walls and transport nutrients into cells, making it highly bioavailable. Fulvic acid also has strong chelating properties, meaning it can bind to and transport minerals and other nutrients, making them more accessible to plants, animals, and humans.

Fulvic/humic acids help to:

  • restore electrical conductivity in the body

  • aid cellular respiration

  • increase energy

  • inhibit the growth of many viruses

  • detoxify pollutants

  • enhance & transport nutrients

  • prevent chronic inflammatory diseas
