Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® (FDN) is used to help improve and maintain the best health possible. FDN does not diagnose nor treat a disease. Instead, we look for underlying causes of health conditions including lifestyle factors and environmental impacts. We look at dysfunctions and imbalances in the hormone, immune, digestion, detoxification and energy production systems. We treat nothing specifically, rather everything non-specifically, using all natural protocols.
FDN involves the D.R.E.S.S. for Health Success® protocol which looks at Diet, Rest, Exercise, Stress reduction and Supplements. It some cases, it may also involve additional testing to identify the root cause of your symptoms.
CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coaching uses questionnaires to firstly assessing the client and where they are at in their life. It is then easier to make diet and lifestyle changes based on this rather than on guessing where changes need to be made.
The CHEK system looks at the 6 Foundation Health Principles which includes your thinking, breathing, eating, drinking, movement and sleeping. All of these have an impact on your health, on your mind, body and spirit. The holistic lifestyle coaching helps to identify common issues often seen which prevents people achieving their goals. It helps to overcome these issues through simple diet and lifestyle changes to get you back on the road to better health.
This will vary from person to person. Some cases are more complex and so will need more time. In other cases, it is all about accountability, someone to motivate you and keep you on track. It is one thing for me to tell you what you need to do, but to put it into practice into your daily life is another thing altogether. For some people this is easy, for others this is harder. However, for best results, at a minimum it would be at least 3 months.
This will vary from person to person. It would depend on whether it is an acute or chronic condition, if there are emotional issues involved, your support network, your level of commitment.
