1. What is beef tallow?
Beef tallow is made from rendered beef or lamb fat, usually around the kidneys which is called suet. At Alephia we only used beef suet in all our tallow products but on request, we do render lamb suet.

2. Is beef tallow good for all skin types?
Beef tallow is great for all skin types, including dry, oily, sensitive, and combination skin, as well as acne prone skin. It is also great for eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and more.
Beef tallow is biocompatible with our skin meaning the composition of beef tallow is very similar to the natural oils (sebum) produced by human skin, making it particularly effective for moisturising without clogging pores.
3. Will using beef tallow make my skin greasy?
Beef tallow will not make your skin greasy as beef tallow absorbs easily into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. It provides deep hydration and helps balance the skin’s natural oil production.
4. How is beef tallow different from other moisturisers?
Beef tallow is all natural and the Alephia Tallow Balms are made with all natural ingredients.
Beef tallow contains the fat soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, and fatty acids that nourish and protect the skin.

5. Does beef tallow clog pores?
